My Makeup Routine
If you have been following me on Instagram for a little while, you know that I am starting to get into makeup a little bit. I have found a new passion for learning how to do makeup, which is super exciting considering a few months ago I could barely blend my foundation right with a beauty blender lol!
I wanted to write this blog post to give you a detailed list of the products I use as well as a video of my routine that I recorded for YouTube! Please keep in mind, I am no pro, I am still learning : )
One of my all-time favs to watch & learn from is Makeup By Kelli Ann, she is SO talented & is where I get most of my information & inspiration from! I bought her back to the basics class & I cannot recommend it enough, she is amazing.
She always stresses the importance of skin prep, which is essentially the prepping of your skin before you apply any makeup. Making sure you are applying makeup to a clean fresh canvas is SO important if you want to achieve a nice glowy look!
(We do not want a cakey finish, no thank you)
Skin Prep
Step #1: Wash face with CeraVe Gentle Cleanser
Step #2: Apply First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Moisturizer
Step #3: Apply Ole Henrickson Banana Bright Eye Cream
Step #4: Apply Elta MD or Tula Sunscreen
Makeup Routine

Step #16: Use Patrick Ta or Tartlette Eyeshadow Pallet to do an eyeshadow/faux eyeliner look (if wearing eyeshadow)
Step #16: Curl lashes & either apply mascara (Benefit Bad Gal Bang or Lancome are my favs) or apply flutter habit lashes (my IGTV has a tutorial vid on this)
Step #17: Use Dior highlighter Pallet as an extra highlight
Step #18: Use either the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner & Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick or Dior Lip Plumping Gloss & Dior Lip Oil for that good lip combo (or just good ole Aquaphor)
